This is our wikipedia quick guide.
Have you created a user account yet?
wrap citations in <ref> tags </ref> and use a Citation Template in between to format the info.
At the bottom of the page be sure to add a <references/> tag below a “References” header so they'll show up. Look at the code in other pages for reference (no pun intended).
If your image is Free Content you can also upload it on Wikimedia Commons so it can be easily used by other Wikipedia projects.

Add to the bottom of pages: [[Category:_____]]
e.g.
[[Category:American artists]] [[Category:Digital artists]] [[Category:Alternative economies]] [[Category:Collaborative groups]] [[Category:Critical curating]] [[Category:Participatory art]] [[Category:Open source art]] [[Category:Creative pedagogy]] [[Category:Activist art]] [[Category:Transdisciplinary art]] (Question: do we need to say "art" in every category? as per goal of art wikimarathon?) [[Category:Hybrid art practices]] [[Category:Anonymous art]] [[Category:Art cults]] [[Category:Living people]] [[Category:Conceptual artists]] [[Category:Contemporary artists]] [[Category:internet art]] [[Category:Postmodern artists]] ...add more categories to use here!!!
